Book of the month this month is Fractured Orbits, the first book in the Encoded Orbits series. It’s full of science fiction action and adventure as a group of underdog heros race between planets to rescue a little girl.

When an accident reveals her daughter's powers, Veena’s worst nightmare comes true. The military snatches the girl—to turn her into a weapon, and use her power to change the face of the galaxy… or destroy it. Now Veena, an elite military cryptographer, will stop at nothing to get her daughter back even if she has to cross the galaxy to do it.

As an aside, the final instalment of the trilogy will be out in September (I’m working though my editors comments now, and the manuscript has come together nicely).
