I’m Jeannette Bedard, a writer of science fiction set far in the future where the heroes are ordinary people making the best choices they can in extra ordinary circumstances. Plus, my stories include all sorts of gee-whiz futuristic, galaxy crossing adventure, weird aliens and worlds, and all sorts of other fun stuff as well.

Here I’ll be sharing some of my stories as well as some of my thoughts around world building, and interesting tidbits fit to be included in a futuristic world.

Starting in the Summer of 2021, I’ll be serializing my space opera trilogy, Encoded Orbits, exclusively here starting with book 1 — Fractured Orbits. New chapters will come out twice a week (note that I’ll be sending out the first 10 chapters for free, and the chapters after that will be available through a paid subscription).
