2025 is here and we have a lot planned for the year.
We’ll continue to run shorter fiction in a serialized format. A brand new, fun sci-fi adventure will kick this off next week—Finding Joy the Hard Way. Here’s a description:
Darla's ship needs repairs forcing her to take it to an out of the way asteroid where a less than upstanding repair shop can do the work. Once there, a group of feral children steal a prized statue she just acquired. She wants her statue back.
A new case file (i.e. more of these) is on it’s way along with more fun scifi adventures and maybe a trip or two into urban fantasy.
There will be more author conversations (like this one and this one) and both of us plan on writing essays around what inspires our stories.
We’ll continue running our book of the month feature. These books are free for paid subscribers and we’ll offer discounts to everyone else. Included in our books of the month will be at least two new releases (the first being The Lost Star Chart in March). So, make sure you subscribe (or upgrade to paid) to not miss out.
We’re also open to suggestions, so feel free to leave a comment and tell us what kind of content you’d like to see more of.
And thank you for joining us on Armchair Alien’s ongoing adventure!
If you’re looking for a distraction from our real world, the most recent Storybundle is a great way to fill your device (and optionally donate to a literacy charity at the same time).
Each story charts a unique course through the cosmos, but all share one common thread: the innate human drive to explore, discover, and push beyond our limitations—no matter the cost.
